Questions we get a lot
Do I have to be home?
Nope. Just leave the bins out after your collection day, at the curb or in the spot you told us about. We clean them and put them back. You get a message when we're done.
Do you use my water?
We bring our own. If you have an outdoor tap and you're happy for us to use it, that helps, but it's never required. We ask on the form purely so we can plan.
Why the day after garbage day?
Because the bin is empty. Cleaning a full bin doesn't work, because we'd just be washing the outside. Right after the city empties it, we can get at every surface inside.
What days do you work?
Monday to Friday. We clean the day after your collection day, so a Monday pickup means a Tuesday clean, and so on. If your garbage day is Friday, we come the following Monday. We do not work weekends.
What if it rains, or my collection is delayed?
Rain doesn't stop us. If the city delays your pickup for a holiday or a storm, we shift your clean to the day after the new pickup and let you know.
What do you actually use to clean them?
A commercial degreaser, a stiff deck brush on every interior surface, a pressure rinse, then a deodorizer that kills the odour-causing bacteria rather than masking them. Inside, outside, lid and wheels.
Where does the dirty water go?
We keep the waste water contained and dispose of it properly. It doesn't go down your storm drain or across your lawn.
Do you clean in the winter?
Yes, we run year-round. On deep-freeze days we may push your clean to the next working day for safety, and we'll always message you first.
Is the monthly plan a contract?
No contract. It's month to month and you can cancel any time by texting or emailing us. You keep the lower per-bin rate as long as you're on it.
My bin has never been cleaned. Is that a problem?
That's most of our jobs. If a bin needs significantly more work than usual, we'll tell you the price before we start, never a surprise afterwards.
How do I pay?
E-transfer or cash after the clean. Monthly customers get one message a month with the amount due.
